The inventive ultrasound treating device comprises a first processing transducer set (11) for transmitting a beam of high-intensity ultrasound waves to a treatable area (3), wherein said beam comprises an aspheric wavefront and forms a focal spot (6) on the treatable area elongated and inclined with respect to the direction of the ultrasound wave propagation and the focal spot (6) length is less than the length of the transducer (11). The inventive device is particularly suitable for treating an elongated area such as vein potions enveloping a pathological valve.Un dispositif de traitement par ultrasons comprenant un premier ensemble transducteur de traitement (11) adapté à émettre un faisceau dondes ultrasonores de haute intensité vers une zone à traiter (3), le faisceau présentant une surface donde asphérique et créant une tache focale (6) sur la zone à traiter allongée et inclinée par rapport à la direction de propagation des ondes ultrasonores, la longueur de la tache focale (6) étant inférieure à la longueur du transducteur (11). Le dispositif selon linvention est particulièrement adapté au traitement de zone allongée, telle que des portions de veines englobant le point dattache dune valvule pathologique.
