The fertiliser spreader comprises a container with stirrer and spreader disks under it with adjustable speed of rotation. Both stirrer and disks are driven by hydraulic motors which are connected via control valves to the pressure feed of the constant velocity pump in the hydraulic system of a vehicle. The valves are connected in parallel and a pressure maintaining valve is positioned between the pressure feed and the tank pipeline of the hydraulic circuit. This controls feed to both hydraulic motors and bleeds off excess hydraulic fluid from the tank.
