To provide a seedling transplanter which can detect a feed amount of a seedling mat at any time.SOLUTION: A seedling transplanter comprises: a seedling placing table in which placing faces on which seedling mats are placed in inclined states are aligned in a machine-body width direction according to the number of rows a planting claw for scraping seedlings from a lower end of the seedling mat, and transplanting them a lateral feed mechanism for reciprocating the seedling mat to the machine-body width direction of the seedling placing table and a vertical feed mechanism for downwardly feeding the seedling mat which is placed on the seedling placing table.
