PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a technology, with respect to an imaging module having a configuration where an electric cable and a solid state imaging element are electrically connected by using a flexible wiring board, which can easily realize to stably maintain a shape of a tip part of the flexible wiring board on which the solid state imaging element is mounted, and can manufacture the imaging module efficiently at low costs.SOLUTION: Provided is an imaging module 10 including a flexible wiring board 30. The flexible wiring board 30 comprises: an element mounting unit 32 that mounts thereon an element substrate 22 including a solid state imaging element 21 two extension parts 34a and 35a that extend to be bent on both sides of the element mounting unit 32 and approach to each other and two connection piece parts 34b and 35b which extend from each extension part and each of which has a terminal part for an electric cable 1.
