ION SOURCE HAVING ADJUSTABLE ION SOURCE PRESSURE FOR CONNECTING ESI-, FI-, FD-, LIFDI- AND MALDI-ELEMENTS AND HYBRID MEANS BETWEEN IONIZATION TECHNIQUES FOR MASS SPECTROMETRY AND/OR ELECTRON PARAMAGNETIC RESONANCE SPECTROSCOPY
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for analyzing a sold, liquid or gaseous analyte emitted from a surface of a special electrode. SOLUTION: This invention provides a technique effecting a soft ionization of an analyte substance by ESI, FI, FD, LIFDI, MALDI or a hybrid thereof with the same ion volume without replacing an ion source by appropriately adjusting pressure, laser radiation and electric field intensity to detect ions or radical ions formed by a mass spectrometry and/or an electron paramagnetic resonance spectroscopy.
