By means of the method, Aedes albopictus having a high CI intensity (for example, 90-99.9%) which is artificially infected with wPip of Culex quinquefasciatus is obtained. The Aedes albopictus or the Aedes albopictus obtained by means of the method is then set free into nature such that the rate of egg laying of Aedes albopictus may be greatly reduced, thereby effectively controlling the generation of offspring and the size of the population of Aedes albopictus, and effectively reducing the occurrence and spread of mosquito-borne diseases such as dengue fever.
