PRODUCTION OF FISH FEED FOR CAGE CULTURE BY MIXING SEAWEEDS CONTAINING BROWN ALGAE, LAMINARIA, LAVER, GREEN LAVER AND HIZIKIA FUSIFORME AND FISH FLESH AND THEN FREEZE DRYING HAVING EFFECTS OF REDUCING SETTLING VELOCITY OF FISH FEED TO ALLOW FISH FEED TO BE SUFFICIENTLY CONSUMED BY FISHES AND PREVENTING WATER POLLUTION
PURPOSE: A method of making fish feed for cage culture by mixing seaweeds containing brown algae, laminaria, laver, green laver and Hizikia fusiforme and fish flesh and then freeze drying is provided. It reduces settling velocity of feed to allow the fish feed to be sufficiently consumed by fishes in a fish habitat layer and prevents water pollution. CONSTITUTION: The fish feed is prepared by the following steps of: drying seaweeds to a moisture content of 40%; dehydrating fish flesh to a moisture content of 60%; mixing 30% by weight of seaweeds and 70% by weight of fish flesh; grinding and extruding the mixture; and then freeze drying the mixture. The seaweeds contain 80% by weight of brown algae and laminaria and 20% by weight of laver, green laver, Hizikia fusiforme and the like.
