PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antibacterial pellet capable of exhibiting antibacterial effect continuously in a noncontact state with an object.SOLUTION: An antibacterial pellet includes a volatile antibacterial agent derived from a natural material, and a binder for the antibacterial agent. Hinokitiol or its derivative is preferably used as the antibacterial agent, and the antibacterial agent is preferably enclosed in a microcapsule. The blending amount of the antibacterial agent is preferably ≥0.01 and ≤10 pts.mass with respect to the 100 pts.mass binder, and the binder preferably contains a polyethylene-based resin having the density of <0.93 kg/m3 as a main component.
