PURPOSE: A producing method of liriope platyphylla drink by roasting is provided to improve the taste, the color, the flavor, the functionality, and the anti-oxidation ability of the liriope platyphylla drink. CONSTITUTION: A producing method of liriope platyphylla drink by roasting comprises the following steps: removing foreign materials from dried roots of liriope platyphylla; roasting the dried roots of liriope platyphylla for 5~20minutes at 100~210deg C; mixing the roasted dried liriope platyphylla roots with water, and hot water extracting; filtering solid residues from the hot water extract using natural pulp filter paper; and adjusting the concentration of the obtained liriope platyphylla drink.
