PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an irradiation device for performing a sterilizing processing by irradiating matters to be irradiated such as powdered, granular, chipped and leaf food (for example, sesame seeds, green powdered tea, cereals, brown seaweed, laver and the like), chemicals, cosmetics, sanitary goods and the like by electron beam. SOLUTION: This electron beam irradiation processing device for irradiating the matters to be irradiated with electron beam 11, comprises a polygonal rotary drum 13 in which a matter to be irradiated 11 is charged, and which is rotatable by a rotation driving means 12, and an electron beam irradiating means 16 for irradiating, with the electron beam 15, the inside of the rotary drum 13 from the external thereof through a transmitting window 14 formed on the rotary drum 13.
