PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structural material for construction in which it is not required to use a metallic pipe for reinforcement and prepare a material having a cross section different in size and shapes according to structural bearing force, and a joining structure for the structural material for construction. SOLUTION: The structural material for construction is constituted so that resin pipes 2 parallelly arranged are connected through a connecting member 22 to each other. As a result, the pipe 2 can be used without reinforcing the pipe 2 by a metallic pipe and it is not required to prepare the structural material for construction different in size and shapes by determining connecting numbers of resin pipes 2 according to structural bearing force, because a plurality of resin pipes 2 are parallelly connected.
