PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide more effective therapeutic means for breast inflammation which are capable of early restoring the amount and/or quality of milk in premorbid conditions.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a set of therapeutic agents for very acute or acute breast inflammation of cattle in lactation period, the set consisting of: a therapeutic agent for very acute or acute breast inflammation of cattle in lactation period which is used to directly inject a titer of 10 to 500 mg of lactoferrin per dose from papillary ducts into an affected quarter a plurality of times at intervals of 2 days or more and which contains as an active ingredient lactoferrin； and a therapeutic agent for very acute or acute breast inflammation of cattle in lactation period which is used to directly inject a titer of 100 to 1000 mg of glycyrrhizin or a salt thereof from papillary ducts into an affected quarter after passing two days or more from the last injection of the lactoferrin and which contains glycyrrhizin or a salt thereof as an active ingredient.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1B【課題】より有効で、かつ乳量・乳質を罹患前の状態に早期に回復させることが可能な乳房炎治療手段の提供。【解決手段】一回当たり力価で10～500mgのラクトフェリンを、2日以上の間隔で複数回、乳頭管より罹患分房内部に直接注入するように用いる、ラクトフェリンを有効成分として含有する、牛の泌乳期の甚急性又は急性乳房炎に対する治療剤と、前記ラクトフェリンの最後の注入から2日以上経過後に、力価で100～1,000mgのグリチルリチン又はその塩を、乳頭管より罹患分房内部に直接注入するように用いる、グリチルリチン又はその塩を有効成分として含有する、牛の泌乳期の甚急性又は急性乳房炎に対する治療剤と、で構成された、牛の泌乳期の甚急性又は急性乳房炎に対する治療剤セット。【選択図】図１Ｂ
