PURPOSE: A primer set which is specific for CMV resistance diagnosis in Capsicum annuum is provided to find CMV resistance mechanism and to control diseases caused by CMV in various crops. CONSTITUTION: A primer set for diagnosing CMV(Cucumber mosaic virus) resistance in Capsicum annuum comprises an oligonucleotide primer set of sequence numbers 1 and 2 and oliconucleotide primer of sequence numbers 3 and 4. A kit for diagnosing CMV resistance comprises the one or more oligonucleotide set and reagent for amplifying. The reagent contains DNA polymerase, dNTP and buffer. A method for diagnosing CMV resistance in Capsicum annuum comprises: a step of isolating genome DNA form a sample; a step of amplifying the DNA; and a step of detecting amplified product. The detecting of amplified is performed through DNA chip, gel electrophoresis.
