The present invention relates to a use of durian carpel extracts. Particularly, the present invention provides a use of durian carpel extracts for promoting the proliferation of skeletal muscle cells and the activity thereof. The durian carpel extracts according to the present invention can promote gene expression of SOD3 and NADSYN1, and inhibit gene expression of PARP1 and PARP2 such as to increase NAD+ content.
