PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide magnetic powder for oxide magnet which is excellent in the orientation of particles and shows high magnetic characteristic, by carrying out the rough crush and fine crush of the powder by dry crush which is considered to be good in orientation in the case of molding in a magnetic field, since the particles hardly flocculate due to bridging of water when manufacturing the magnetic powder for the oxide magnet. SOLUTION: After rough powder of 0.8 to 2.0μm average grain size is obtained by roughly crushing temporarily burned raw material of the magnetic powder for the oxide magnet by the dry crushing method of a dry vibration mill etc., fine powder of 0.5 to 1.5μm average grain size is obtained by finely crushing the rough powder by an air-current type crushing method of a jet mill etc. The fine powder is dry-molded in a magnetic field and thereafter sintered, so that anisotropy oxide sintered magnet can entirely be manufactured in dry type processing.
