PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve defects that preservation stability with time of an oil-based solid cosmetic is deteriorated when it is prepared by admixing a solid oil composed only of a plant-derived solid oil with an organic coloring matter and that effects obtained by the plant-derived solid oil added for the purpose of enhancing shape-retaining properties are also reduced.
SOLUTION: The oil-based solid cosmetic comprises an oil component, comprised of the plant-derived solid oil, which comprises the plant-derived solid oil containing at least 90% of a wax ester having a melting point of 70°C or higher and composed of a 16-34C fatty acid and a 22-36C alcohol, and a liquid oil, and the organic coloring matter. The oil-based solid cosmetic further comprises candelilla wax, where the content of hydrocarbons in candelilla wax components is at least 60%.
