The present invention relates to a drying apparatus which dries a drying object using waste heat generated from a carbonizing furnace for producing charcoal from wood. The eco-friendly drying apparatus using waste heat comprises the following: a carbonizing furnace； a waste heat collecting device collecting and accumulating the waste heat generated from the carbonizing furnace； a heat pipe heated by the waste heat accumulated in the waste heat collecting device； a drier including the heat pipe located on the lower side, and a drying frame for supporting the drying object on the upper side of the heat pipe； and a temperature control device maintaining the temperature inside the drier.목탄의 제탄시 탄화로에서 발생된 폐열을 재사용하여 건조물을 건조시키는 건조장치에 관한 것이다. 폐열을 이용한 친환경 건조장치는 탄화로와, 상기 탄화로에서 발생된 폐열을 공급받아 집적하는 폐열회수장치와, 상기 폐열회수장치에 집적된 폐열로 가열되는 히트파이프와, 상기 히트파이프가 저면에 설치되며, 건조물을 지지해주는 건조틀이 상기 히트파이프 상부에 구비된 건조기 및 상기 건조기 내부의 온도를 일정하게 유지시켜주는 온도제어장치를 포함한다.
