Die Handmanschette (1) zeigt im Querschnitt ein C-Profil, wobei zwei Enden des C-förmigen Profils der Handmanschette (1) die Manschettenöffnung (1a) bilden. Die Handmanschette (1) ist aus zwei oder mehr Manschettenteilen (3) gebildet, wobei diese Manschettenteile (3) im Querschnitt ein C-förmiges Profil aufweisen und miteinander mittels eines Verbindungselementes (4) zu der Handmanschette (1) verbunden sind. Die Manschettenteile (3) sind mittels des Verbindungselementes bevorzugt verschieblich und/oder verschwenkbar und lösbar so miteinander verbunden, dass die Breite der Manschettenöffnung (1a) für jeden Patienten individuell angepasst werden kann.
