CONSORTIUM OF STRAINS OF MICROORGANISMS BACILLUS BREVIS AND ARTHROBACTER SPECIES USED FOR TREATMENT OF WATER AND SOIL FROM PETROLEUM AND PETROLEUM PRODUCTS
FIELD: microbiology, ecology. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biological treatment of water and soil from petroleum and petroleum products. The consortium deposited in the collection of microorganisms in Institute of biology of Ufa science center RAS at number IB DT-5 comprises strains Bacillus brevis IB DT5-1 (51%) and Arthrobacter species IB DT5-3 (49%). The consortium is isolated from soil polluted with diesel fuel. The consortium type represents the natural symbiotic association of two strains of microorganisms. The consortium shows high utilizing ability with respect to petroleum and petroleum products in the wide range of their content in hydrocarbon-containing substrate. ^ EFFECT: valuable properties of consortium. ^ 3 tbl, 3 ex
