A single seedling mat double-planting wide- and narrow-line transplanter, comprising: a vehicle frame, a seedling platform, and a transplanting mechanism. The seedling platform comprises a plurality of seedling trays (1). The transplanting mechanism comprises a drive box (2) and a rotating box (3). A transplanting arm (4) is provided the rotating box. A transplanting claw (7) is provided on the transplanting arm. An empty space (8) is provided between adjacent seedling trays (1). Each of the seedling trays (1) is correspondingly provided with two seedling pick-up positions (5). Each of the seedling pick-up positions (5) is correspondingly provided with the rotating box (3), transplanting arm (4), and transplanting claw (7). The distance between the two seedling pick-up positions is one-half of the width of a seedling mat placement area on the seedling tray. Two of the rotating boxes corresponding to the same seedling tray rotate along respective circular paths arranged at an angle to each other. As a result, seedling transplanting positions of the two transplanting claws are displaced to the side of the seedling pick-up positions thereof. The drive box is a non-uniform speed drive box, and alternates, after completing a full rotation, between a fast rotation power output and a slow rotation power output. The single seedling mat double-planting wide- and narrow-line transplanter can use, while protecting a rice seedling, a current seedling mat cultivation apparatus.
