PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide water-containing chocolate good in dispersibility into cold water, soda water or the like, especially chocolate beverage which has rich chocolate feeling by a raw chocolate raw material and which can be drunk even when it is cold.SOLUTION: There is provided water-containing chocolate containing (A) a cacao solid content, (B) disaccharide and/or monosaccharide and (C) two or more kinds selected from whole powdered milk, an emulsifier and liquid oil. There is provided the water-containing chocolate for drinking, containing the whole powdered milk of 2.5 to 30 wt.%, the emulsifier of 0.02 to 2 wt.% and the liquid oil of 3 to 38 wt.%. There is provided the water-containing chocolate for drinking, in which the emulsifier is one or more kind selected sucrose fatty acid ester, polyglyceryl fatty acid ester or sorbitan fatty acid ester. There is provided a chocolate beverage containing the water-containing chocolate for drinking containing the water-containing chocolate for drinking.
