A skin-treating composition which comprise an earth-like material, preferably clay, which is compatible with the skin and which is soft when wet and hard when dry and which is in the form of a multiplicity of solid, water-insoluble beads having a size larger than particles of powder that tend to become air-borne because of the fineness of the powder when a batch thereof is mixed, the size of the beads falling within the range of about 250 to about 4000 microns, and a paste formed therefrom using a water-based liquid that can be spread on the bodily skin of an individual to improve the properties thereof.L'invention concerne une composition de traitement de la peau qui comprend un matériau terreux, de préférence de l'argile, qui est compatible avec la peau et qui est souple lorsqu'il est humide et dure lorsqu'il est sec, et qui se présente sous la forme d'une multiplicité de billes solides et insolubles dans l'eau ayant une taille plus grande que des particules de poudre qui tendent à se propager dans l'air en raison de la finesse de la poudre lorsqu'un lot de celle-ci est mélangé, la taille des billes se situant dans la plage d'environ 250 à environ 4 000 microns, et une pâte formée à partir de celles-ci à l'aide d'un liquide à base d'eau qui peut être étalée sur la peau d'un individu pour améliorer ses propriétés.
