PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water dispersion type sex pheromone sustained release preparation capable of controlling excess release at the initial stage of spraying, releasing a sex pheromone substance in a uniform concentration for a certain period of time and being sprayed by a common sprayer. SOLUTION: The water dispersion type sex pheromone sustained release preparation at least includes the insect sex pheromone substance enclosed in a cyclodextrin ring, a non-inclusion cyclodextrin enclosing no insect sex pheromone substance, a water-soluble polymer compound and water. Furthermore, provided is a method for producing the water dispersion type sex pheromone sustained release preparation including at least a step for mixing an aqueous suspension of the insect sex pheromone substance enclosed in a cyclodextrin with the non-inclusion cyclodextrin enclosing no insect sex pheromone substance and the water-soluble polymer compound.
