PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image diagnostic apparatus for preventing artifact of images of blood vessel, aneurysm and the like on the basis of beam hardening due to a contrast medium.SOLUTION: There is provided a medical image diagnostic apparatus exposing an X-ray to the subject from various directions, collecting a plurality of X-ray projection data, and executing image processing an internal structure of the subject. In the medical image diagnostic apparatus, extracting a contrast medium area from a reconstructed image on the basis of the projection data and reprojecting, and the obtained projection data is executed correction of beam hardening due to the feature amount of the contrast medium, and reconstructing images of the subject on the basis of the corrected projection data. Accordingly, images of blood vessel and the like with little artifact by executing correction are provided even when generating beam hardening.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】本発明は、造影剤に起因するビームハードニングに基づく血管像や動脈瘤等の画像のアーチファクトを防止できる医用画像診断装置を提供する。【解決手段】被検体に対し多方向からX線を曝射して複数のX線投影データを収集し、前記被検体の内部構造を画像化する処理を行う医用画像診断装置である。投影データに基づく再構成画像から造影剤領域を抽出して再投影して得られた投影データに対して、造影剤の特徴量に起因するビームハードニングの補正を行い、補正された補正投影データに基づいて、前記被検体の画像を再構成する処理を行う。これにより、ビームハードニングが生じたとしても補正を行い血管像等のアーチファクトの少ない画像を提供できる。【選択図】図7
