In this method, an image stream frame captured by an in-vivo device is received, and each frame is composed of a plurality of pixels. A summary data display may be generated that constitutes the summary data element, each summary data element corresponding to at least one frame of the image stream. The summary data element samples pixels ordered according to a predetermined sampling scheme to obtain an ordered subset of pixels by ordering pixels of one or more image frames according to a first sorting parameter； and Generated by combining or adding the sampled pixels to form a summary data element.
