PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To disclose a machine / computer-implemented system, method and computer program product for adjusting the intensity value of a scored pixel of a digital image. The system is configured to acquire a digital image from a data storage unit and perform a pixel-by-pixel comparison to generate a score for each pixel. The types of comparison include the discovery of minimum and maximum values for each pixel score by comparison with neighboring non-adjacent pixel pairs, discovery of difference pair scores by comparison with neighboring pixels, and comparison with vectors consisting of individual pixels. Includes the discovery of multiple vector score types. The value of each pixel is adjusted by applying this new information. The system is further configured to generate a group of such scores for a plurality of pixels in the digital image and generate an adjusted image of the multidimensional scored pixels. The adjustment of scored pixels results in a new digital image, where the value of a given pixel is adjusted based on one or more of the scoring types.
