PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brown algae extract-containing composition that comprises a brown algae extract as an active ingredient and can prevent the induction of hemorrhoid disease or can promote improvement even when hemorrhoid disease develops.SOLUTION: A brown algae extract-containing composition comprises: a brown algae extract having a solid content of 0.10 to 10.00 wt.% excluding moisture as a main component and, as residual ingredients, water, ethanol, and the like as well as medically acceptable ingredients.
