The object of the present invention is a cosmetic composition for treating keratin fibers comprising an ADF-4 recombinant silk protein, in selected amount, said composition providing both deep and superficial treatment of keratin fibers. It is a further aspect of the invention the use of the ADF-4 silk recombinant protein to prepare the cosmetic composition and a method for treating keratin fibers using the specific amount of ADF-4 recombinant silk protein.L'objet de la présente invention est une composition cosmétique pour le traitement de fibres de kératine comprenant une protéine de soie recombinante ADF-4, en quantité sélectionnée, ladite composition fournissant à la fois un traitement profond et superficiel de fibres de kératine. Un autre aspect de l'invention concerne l'utilisation de la protéine de soie recombinante ADF-4 pour préparer la composition cosmétique et un procédé de traitement de fibres de kératine utilisant la quantité spécifique de protéine de soie recombinante ADF-4.
