The apparatus further comprises an end effector including an ultrasonic blade in acoustic communication with the waveguide. The distal portion of the ultrasonic blade is disposed in a first direction away from the longitudinal axis at a bending angle. The end effector also drives a clamp arm coupled to the first member and the second member, and articulation of the articulation section, thereby deflecting the end effector from the longitudinal axis in the first direction.
