PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a fruit juice-containing beverage in which astaxanthin, which is one kind of carotenoid, is added, and in particular, the offensive taste and offensive odor resulting from the added astaxanthin formulation is masked and in which the astaxanthin that does not, by the addition of the astaxanthin, adversely affect the appearance of the fruit juice-containing beverage, is contained; and a production process therefor as well as a method for suppressing the odor of the fruit juice-containing beverage containing the astaxanthin.SOLUTION: Provided is a fruit juice-containing beverage containing astaxanthin and a fruit juice, and in which, characterized, the concentration of astaxanthin (mg/100 g) in the beverage liquid is 1.0 to 12.0, and the ratio of the astaxanthin concentration to cyclic oligosaccharide concentration (mg/100) in the beverage liquid is 0.03 to 0.15.SELECTED DRAWING: None
