The present application provides systems that includea controller, and an insertion device with at least one temperaturessensor thereon and a pump coupled to the controller. The insertiondevice provides temperature measurement(s) at/of a subject's organ tothe controller and the controller varies an infusate flow rate to inducetemperature changes in at least a portion of the subject's organ andstores the temperature measurements during perfusion induced temperaturechanges on a memory device. The controller may estimate atleast one hemodynamic characteristic of at least a portion of the subject'sorgan based on the temperature measurements obtained duringperfusion induced temperature changes.
