PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a stable exhibition of a high electrolytic water-generating capacity and excellent maintainability in an apparatus equipped with an electrolysis unit for generating electrolytic water.
SOLUTION: The electrolysis unit 52 for generating electrolytic water is mounted to a water storage tank 51 and has a body case 70 composed of an electrode accommodating portion 70A for accommodating the base end portions of electrode plates 72, 73 and a tubular connecting portion 70B connected to the electrode accommodating portion 70A and a water storage tank 51. A flange 77 mounted to the outer wall of the water storage tank 51 is installed at one end of the connecting portion 70B. The inside of the body case 70 and the inside of the water storage tank 51 are communicated through an opening portion 51A. A spacer 74 for supporting the electrode plates 72, 73 so as to keep a space between them is disposed in the connecting portion 70B.
