PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the uptake of blood sugar to fat cells and muscle cells while restraining accumulation of a lipid.SOLUTION: There are provided an intracellular metabolism promoting composition containing the one containing one or more kinds selected from a group consisting of the agonist of PPAR&gamma, its physiologically allowable salts and their hydrates as an active ingredient, a TNF-&alpha activity inhibitor, and a pharmaceutical preparation, health food and functional food containing the composition as an active ingredient. The composition can improve blood sugar value while preventing the accumulation of the lipid.
