PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article for a pet which is hardly peeled off by the feet caught on a surface when a pet passes on the absorbent article for a pet, hardly makes hands dirty in excretion disposal work, and hardly gives discomfort when a feel of feces is directly transmitted to fingers.SOLUTION: An absorbent article 1A for a pet in the invention includes: an absorbent body 5 including a surface sheet 2 and an absorber 4 arranged on one surface of the surface sheet 2 and a liquid-permeable excretion disposal sheet 6 which is arranged on a surface of an opposite side of one surface of the surface sheet 2 and is fixed on the absorbent body 5 through a fixing part 7 to be separated and is integrated. The excretion disposal sheet 6 has a string 8 provided on a peripheral edge part 60s by sewing in the form of running stitches.
