PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article for a pet which hardly turns after mounted around the girth of a pet.SOLUTION: The absorbent article 1 for a pet is mounted by being wound around the girth of the pet, and includes: a liquid-permeable surface sheet 2 a liquid-impermeable back surface layer 3 and an absorbent 4 disposed between the surface sheet 2 and the back surface layer 3, and is configured in a rectangle shape having a first end part 11 and a second end part 12 which are opposite to each other, and a pair of side parts 17 perpendicular to the first end part 11 and the second end part 12 and opposite to each other, and the absorbent article is formed into a rectangular shape.
