PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a perimeter which enables a subject to easily recognize his or her own visual field defect concretely in the process of a visual field examination and clearly shows a result of examination.
SOLUTION: After a visual field examination starts, a fixation light is displayed at a prescribed position in the subjects visual field, numbers from 1 to Nmax are displayed as optotypes at different positions one by one in an ascending order, it is checked with respect to each of the numbers of optotypes displayed whether or not a response switch indicating that the subject visually recognizes it is input, the presence of response and the display position of the number are associated and stored (loops of S8 to S15). When it is completed, a completion screen is displayed (S16) and information about the optotype in which there is no response input is displayed to a part of the completion screen as a result of visual field examination.
