A method of manufacturing a health food composition is provided to effectively relieve asthma symptoms such as cough, phlegm and dyspnoea, simplify manufacturing process, and minimize lowering of efficacy and taste. First, 2.0 to 8.0% by weight of sea cucumbers, 2.0 to 10 parts by weight of Sorbus commixta, 3.0 to 7.0 parts by weight of grapes, 3.9 to 4.5 parts by weight of Schizandra fruit, 2.0 to 4.0 parts by weight of sea squirts, 2.0 to 4.0 parts by weight of apples, 1.0 to 8.0 parts by weight of red ginseng, 1.0 to 2.5 parts by weight of eggplants, 1.0 to 2.0 parts by weight of ginger, 1.0 to 2.0 parts by weight of bay leaves, 0.1 to 0.5 parts by weight of licorice root and 0.1 to 0.2 parts by weight of Mentha arvensis are mixed, dried at 60 to 80deg.C and ground. Then, the powder is mixed with 50 to 70 parts by weight of honey and fermented at 25 to 35deg.C for 20 to 40 days.
