The invention relates to an orthodontic appliance for a patient comprising: - a support (2) of which at least one external face is shaped to conform to the shape of the patient's palate when the support is placed against the palate, - a peripheral rim (3) of the support intended to be arranged at least facing a palatal face of the upper dental arch when the support is placed against the palate. The invention also relates to a method for manufacturing such an orthodontic appliance.L'invention concerne un appareil orthodontique pour un patient comprenant : - un support (2) dont au moins une face externe est conformée pour épouser la forme du palais du patient lorsque le support est posé contre le palais, - une bordure (3) périphérique dudit support destinée à être agencée au moins en regard d'une face palatine de l'arc dentaire supérieur lorsque le support est posé contre le palais. L'invention concerne également un procédé de fabrication d'un tel appareil orthodontique.
