FIELD: testing equipment. SUBSTANCE: invention is related to tests of locking-sealing devices including length of cable which end with locking is passed through body and is fixed by means of locking mechanism with spring-loaded fixing members. Given approach provides for single-axis tension of length of cable with constant speed of grippers of tearing machine. Ideal characteristic diagram for locking-sealing device-straight line is constructed in advance with setting of maximal load Pmax - to which locking-sealing device should stand up in case of unauthorized penetration and value delta which is total crawling out of cable of locking mechanism in case of attempt of criminal break. In process of testing stepped increase of load P to consistently growing level Pi is carried out. Complete unloading of locking-sealing device is performed after each loading step and locking mechanism is displaced along cable to new seat. Obtained data are utilized to construct diagram P-delta of tension for locking-sealing device
