PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ion generator which allows downsizing, while preventing the bonding between a positive ion and a negative ion.SOLUTION: An ion generator 100 comprises: a first discharge electrode 1 for emitting positive ions a second discharge electrode 2 for emitting negative ions and a support substrate 6 for supporting the first discharge electrode 1 and the second discharge electrode 2.
