PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for extracting effective components contained in plant tissue in such a form as absorbable in the human body.SOLUTION: The method for extracting effective components in plant tissue includes a component extraction process. In the component extraction process, the pressure and temperature are retained inside a sealed space with a plant raw material as an object to be processed in the range of temperature from 125°C to 135°C and in the range of pressure from 2 to 3 atmospheric pressure, which are pressure and temperature necessary to hydrolyze the plant tissue, for a fixed period of time while controlling the steam pressure as a partial pressure inside the sealed space along a saturated steam pressure curve. After that, the temperature and pressure inside the sealed space are lowered while the pressure and temperature are controlled along the saturated steam pressure curve, and the steam generated inside the sealed space is infiltrated into the plant tissue to hydrolyze the plant tissue.
