PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe puncture needle that can draw a thread passing through a puncture needlepoint in a short time and can regulate the turning of the puncture needle, in urinary incontinence surgery TOT, TVT and pelvic organ prolapse surgery TVM.SOLUTION: A puncture needle includes a curved puncture part 2 having a needle part 21 in one end side, and an arm part 3 provided turnably to each other with the puncture part 2 through a turning part 4. The puncture needle includes a groove part formed along a longitudinal direction of the puncture part 2, a communication hole in communication with the groove part provided in the needle part 21, a long hole perpendicular to the communication hole, a recessed groove provided in a symmetric position with the groove part, a target 32 with an opening capable of inserting the needle part 21 provided at the tip of the arm part 3, and turning regulation means 31 fixed in the arm part 3.
