Disclosed herein is a novel pharmaceutical formulation of aprepitant suitable for parenteral administration, including intravenous administration. Also included are formulations containing both aprepitant and dexamethasone sodium phosphate. The pharmaceutical formulation is a stable oil-in-water emulsion for parenteral treatment of emesis and is particularly useful for the treatment of subjects undergoing highly emetic cancer chemotherapy.
