PURPOSE: A selective medium for detecting Bacillus cereus is provided to form clear colony and to improve selectivity. CONSTITUTION: A medium composition for detecting microorganism contains 20-50g of blood agar base, 50,000-200,000 IU of polymyxin B, 2-6mg of trimethoprim, 5-20g of sodium pyruvate, 30-50 ml of egg yolk emulsion, 20-30 ml of sheep blood, 20-30 mL of fetal bovine serum, and 1-5g of sodium chloride. A method for detecting Bacillus cereus in a sample comprises: a step of inoculating the sample into a medium and culturing for 16-48 hours； and a step of observing the type of a colony.본 발명은 바실러스 세레우스 검출을 위한 선택배지 및 그 배지를 이용한 바실러스 세레우스 검출방법에 관한 것이다.
