PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food dough molding device capable of evenly leveling an ingredient-containing food dough and molding in a sheet-like shape while suppressing ingredients from clogging or being crushed, and a food dough molding method using the same.SOLUTION: A food dough molding device includes: a food dough supply part 1 to which a food dough K containing ingredients is supplied a belt conveyor 2 which is arranged so as to form the undersurface of the food dough supply part 1 a leveling plate 3 which is on an end on the travel direction side of the belt conveyor 2 of the dough supply part 1 and is arranged at a prescribed interval between a belt conveyor top face S2 and a leveling roll 4 which is on a downstream than the leveling plate 3 on the belt conveyor 2, and is arranged at a prescribed interval between the belt conveyor 2. At least the lower part of the leveling plate 3 is an inclined plane S3 obliquely downward extending to the travel direction of the belt conveyor 2.
