PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to efficiently purifying circulation water in a hydroponic system by a simple apparatus.SOLUTION: A purification apparatus includes a circulation path (11) for circulating circulation water, and the circulation path (11) includes a circulation path (12) having water purification units (60) provided to be mutually switchable and a normal path (13) without passing through the circulation path (12). The purification unit (60) has a discharging unit (62) for performing discharge in the circulation water and an ultrasonic wave generating unit (94) for irradiating with ultrasonic waves the circulation water. The discharging unit (62) has an electrode pair (64, 65, 464, 465, 564, 565, 664, 665) for generating electrical discharge in the circulation water and a power source unit (70), and is constituted so as to generate hydroxy radicals in the circulation water by the electric discharge.
