Demand for new antimicrobials has increased over the years due to the increasing frequency of drug -resistant micro -organisms available on the market today. Products of natural origin have been gaining prominence in this sectorBy producing different metabolites that can act in different ways inhibiting the growth of microorganisms, thereby avoiding the selection of resistant bacteria.
