PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seedling transplanter including a fertilizing apparatus that makes the amount of fertilizer to be dispensed from the fertilizing apparatus approximately constant per unit field area, even when the travel speed of the seedling transplanter varies.SOLUTION: The rotational speed of dispensing rolls 73A, 73B of the fertilizing apparatus 5 is changed with a preset variation by means of a fertilizer dispensing electric motor 159, on the basis of the travel speed of a traveling vehicle body 2 detected by a vehicle speed sensor 112 so that the amount of fertilizer to be supplied to the rotating bodies 73A, 73B can be kept constant, even when the rotational speed of the rotating bodies 73A, 73B is changed. For example, when a vehicle speed is accelerated, the rotation of the dispensing rolls 73A, 73B is more decelerated than a proportional relationship so as to prevent the reduction of the amount of fertilizer to be discharged by the rolls 73A, 73B one time and prevent the deficiency of fertilizer, resulting in good growth of seedlings. When the vehicle speed is decelerated, the rotation of the rolls 73A, 73B is changed so as to be more accelerated than the proportional relationship to accelerate the rotational speed of the rolls 73A, 73B, thereby preventing the increase of the amount of fertilizer to be discharged by the rolls 73A, 73B one time, resulting in the prevention of the excessive supply of fertilizer.【課題】苗移植機の走行速度の変動があっても施肥装置から繰り出される肥料の繰出量が単位圃場面積当たりでほぼ一定になるようにした施肥装置を備えた苗移植機を提供すること。【解決手段】車速センサ112により走行車体2の走行速度に基づき施肥装置5の繰出しロール73A,73Bの回転速度を肥料繰出電動モータ159により予め設定された変更量で変更することで、該回転体73A,73Bの回転速度が変わっても、回転体73A,73Bに供給される肥料の量を一定量に保つことができる。例えば車速が速くなると繰出しロール73A,73Bの回転が比例関係以上に遅くなり、該ロール73A,73Bが一度に排出する肥料の量が減少して肥料不足になることが防止され苗の生育が良好となり、車速が遅くなるとロール73A,73Bの回転が比例関係以上に速くなるように変更することで、ロール73A,73Bの回転速度を速くしてロール73A,73Bが一度に排出する肥料の量が増加して肥料が供給過剰になることが防止できる。【選択図】図14
