PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spray apparatus that accurately shows a vehicle speed at all times even when speed information is not obtained from the GPS.SOLUTION: A riding-type tending machine obtains the speed information from the GPS by a GPS receiver 78 for receiving position information and speed information from the GPS, detects the number of revolutions of wheels 4 or 5 from a vehicle speed sensor 37, calculates an application amount of fertilizer by the fertilizer spray apparatus 1 on the basis of both pieces of the speed information, and, when GPS speed information is not obtained, calculates a vehicle speed on the basis of vehicle speed obtained by the vehicle speed sensor 37 to decide an application amount of fertilizer.
