The present invention relates to a vaccine composition for preventing or treating brucellosis infection comprising ndk (nucleoside diphosphate kinase) protein derived from Brucella strain as an active ingredient, and a method for preventing or treating brucellosis infection using the vaccine composition. The vaccine composition provided by the present invention can be used for prevention or treatment of more effective brucellosis due to its ability to reduce the damage caused by infection of the brucella strain with the active ingredient ndk protein.본 발명은 브루셀라 균주로부터 유래된 ndk(nucleoside diphosphate kinase) 단백질을 유효성분으로 포함하는 브루셀라 감염증 예방 또는 치료용 백신 조성물 및 상기 백신 조성물을 이용하여 브루셀라 감염증을 예방 또는 치료하는 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에서 제공하는 백신조성물은 그의 유효성분인 ndk 단백질에 의하여 브루셀라 균주가 감염되어도 이로 인한 피해를 감소시킬 수 있으므로, 보다 효과적인 브루셀라 감염증의 예방 또는 치료에 널리 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
